A power outage in La Quinta effecting 217 customers on Wednesday morning could last five hours, the Imperial Irrigation District said on Twitter.The water and power provider tweeted about the current outage at 6:28 a.m. Its cause was not immediately clear.There appeared to be another outage earlier in the morning, but IID said on Twitter that all power in La Quinta was restored around 5:26 a.m.POWER OUTAGE: We are experiencing a power outage in La Quinta affecting 217 customers. Troubleshooter is on site.
